Radio 18-12 promotes world wide celebration of International Migrants
Day.
The 18th December has been designated International Migrants Day by the
United Nations and this year migrants rights campaigners will mark it
with a 24 hour radio programme which will roll out for 24 hours from the
Asian Pacific, across the Africa and Europe, and ending in the Americas.

All organisations supporting migrants can get involved in Radio 18-12
activities in the following ways:
* Register to the mailing list

* Organise an event on International Migrant’s Day and let the
organizers know so they we can publicise it.
* Organise an event on International Migrant’s Day and get a radio
station to cover it.
* Contact local/national radio stations and ask them to broadcast
on migration issues on the 18th of December.
* Send the organizers contact details of radio stations and
organisations that could get involved in this event.
* Upload your radio materials on migration on the Radio 18-12
website.
* Put the Radio 18-12 logo/banner and link on your own website.
* Connect to the Radio 18-12 website and participate in the
discussions and listen to audio materials.
Radio 18-12 aims to build solidarity with migrants right across the
world. It will be an opportunity to work with groups in Asia, Africa
and the Americas and show that the campaign for human, social, cultural
and political rights is supported right across the world.
